bh cosmetics Summer Lovin’ eyeshadow palette

I’ve had this #bhcosmetics Summer Lovin’ palette for a little over a week now, and have used it every day since. With 16 eyeshadows, it is easy to create a new look every day. This is a fairly small palette with such a surprising number of eyeshadows (in a variety of finishes).

But why, please tell me, does seeing Summer Lovin’ sitting on my bathroom counter make me start singing (at least in my head) the ‘Summer Nights’ song from Grease?! Every time! Am I the only one?

The range of pink and purple hues, along with a multitude of neutrals, and the compact size of this palette will make it your summer ‘go-to.’ It’s been my inspiration for eye looks for everything from afternoon coffee in the garden to late night concerts in town. Summer Lovin’ could easily be the only palette you need to pack for your summer vaca, beach stay, or road trip.

The neutrals in this palette are perfect for the basis of any look (including natural, beach appropriate, ‘no makeup’ eyes). And, I’m lovin’ that it also has 3 pink-y corals and 3 variations on purple to keep it interesting (Beauty Under Your Influence). You can go shy with matte browns and a beige, or flirty with shimmering ruby pinks and bold violets.

I created one full step-by-step look for you followed by a multitude of finished looks (to fuel your imagination):

I also tried a look that used mostly browns with a fuchsia for the lower lash line:

Let me know in comments if you already have this palette, and if you like it.

bh Cosmetics currently has it on sale from $12.00 USD to $8.00, which is a steal! And, they even have a cool little set featuring this palette that also includes a glittery zip-up bag and a travel mascara.

Summer Lovin’ has a total net wt of 0.35 oz/10 g, with 16 eyeshadows and a magnetic closure. No brush included. I find that the glittery and some of the frost shade are best applied with your fingertip anyway, in order to not lose any of the pigment. And, especially for summer, I wear these with both a primer and setting spray to make sure they stay summer proof.

Hope you are having a fun summer, Gorgeous! Whatever you do—Don’t forget the sunscreen!!! 🙂

Love ya,

Hey Lena! Sorry for the huge delay in my reply. I’ve been out of town for a bit.

Oh yea, you should try a BH palette! It is never too late. And, BH is soooo affordable, why not? 🙂

If you want one with a LOT of color try the:
–>Take Me Back to Brazil palette (35 bright colors)
      If you prefer neutrals:
–>try either the Glam Reflection Guilded (with golds) or the Glam Reflection Rose (smoldering browns)–either of these has 15 shades
OR, if you want a mix of lots of colors:
–>Ultimate Artistry palette (big at 42 shades)

I hope that helps. Let me know if you do try one out.

      Jen
