I’m not sure why it took me so long to start using Anastasia’s Pomade Dipbrow because it is a true game changer! I finally picked up a pot ($18. USD) of this brow color in BLONDE:

Brow pomade is AMAZING because it glides on so easily to detail brows with smudge-proof and waterproof tint. If you happen to get outside of your intended lines with tint, it rubs off easily before it sets. And, it allows for either a more natural or bold look, with buildable color (just add more for a more dramatic look when going out in the evening).

Applying it with a firm bristled mini, angled, eyebrow brush is perfect! Dipbrow Pomade does dry fairly quickly, so I use an amount that won’t overwhelm the small brush and will ensure an accurate sweep.

I chose the lightest shade of DipbrowBlonde. It comes in 11 shades total, that include a wide range of browns, two greys (Ash and Granite) and a couple that will work for red hair (Caramel or Auburn). Plus, one deep shade of Ebony. The other shades are: Taupe, Soft Brown, Medium Brown, Chocolate, Dark Brown, and Ash Brown.

If you use Dipbrow as your only brow color, I think making sure to brush brows with a spoolie first is a good idea to make sure brows appear well-groomed in the end. Adding a clear gel after Dipbrow would also be a great to keep brow hairs aligned.

When I use this pomade I like to pair it with tarte’s Busy Gal Brows (which comes in three colors: Taupe, Medium Brown and Black Brown) to get a little extra definition of hairs and some hold before filling in with color. Busy Gal Brows has a spoolie applicator, so it does a good job of taming brows and making sure the spoolie step is not missed.

I’ve taken some pictures so you can see the real difference it makes to add brow color:

(btw, sorry about the more natural lighting in the last picture—just so you know: I never use lighting filters or special bulbs in my photos.)

Here are another set of step-by-step shots from a different day, for good measure, and so that hopefully you can see the positive difference a little brow color makes. 🙂

Vegan and Cruelty-free Dipbrow doesn’t budge all day for me, even with my skin that tends to be on the oily side. This product has become a staple in my morning makeup routine.

If you love this product as much as I do, let me know what shade of Dipbrow do you use.

You go Gorgeous! xo,
