PAINTED EARTH Boo-Boo Gel skincare

Sure, it’s got a funny name: Boo-Boo Gel. But, this Painted Earth Cosmetics treatment seriously works! It is great for amping-up skin’s resilience and solving many skin issues. Boo-Boo Gel has a long list of beneficial uses.

I purchased this 2oz/60ml jar of Boo-Boo Gel directly from Paintedearthcosmetics.com for $25.00.  So, you know it won’t break the budget either. The container is roughly a little over 2 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches tall. But you won’t need much of this powerhouse product for each application.

After doing a bit of searching for something that might help heal some quite old sunburn scars on my forehead (that maybe only I can still see), I found this miracle-working gel. (I was unfortunately wearing a water-based sunscreen that had been melted off by the sun, on the day I received the damaging sun exposure. Arg.)

And, it is amazing! I wish I’d had this a few years ago when I was battling breakouts. A natural and organic antimicrobial formula, this gel wipes out acne causing bacteria and keeps skin matte by controlling oil production. Here are the power ingredients:

• Colloidal Silver—a natural antibiotic and anti-inflammatory that boosts cell recovery. Specifically, it is silver atoms distilled in ion-less water at are antibacterial and antiseptic. Genius!
• Melissa Essential Oil—a Super Herb derived oil with potent antioxidants that will stop itching and redness by healing and calming irritated skin.
• Licorice—a root extract that soothes, diminishes skin discoloration, and brightens skin by way of antioxidants.

Boo-Boo Gel can be applied directly anywhere on skin to solve: acne, itching from bug bites, scratches, burns, large pores and oily skin. That is quite a list! And I’m using it to lighten discoloration and ‘erase’ old scars.

The color will vary slightly (can be anywhere from clear to amber) from container to container depending on the specific batch of plant crop used and the time of year that crop was harvested. I’m consistently trying to add more natural foods to my diet and beauty products, so I love that this is all-natural and organic. It smells a bit herbal but the scent mainly reminds me of caramel.

*At the time I ordered this, they threw in two samples: Boo-Boo Gel EX “Natural Healer” and Clear Confession “Acne Banisher.”

Clear Confession is an outstanding daily moisturizer for sensitive, oily, or acne-prone skin. It has absolutely NO harsh ingredients, and is also 100% natural. Certainly, a superior alternative to benzoyl peroxide.

Clear Confession has a creamy consistency, and smells a bit like lemons (which is one of the ingredients). And, like the Boo-Boo Gel, it is just packed with natural ingredient goodness, like gotu kola that stimulates cell regeneration.

Not only will it arrest breakouts, but it also works to even-out any skin discoloration from past acne with lemon essential oil and organic licorice. It can even be worn over acne fighting moisturizer during day and/or night.

Boo-Boo Gel EX is the next level up from Boo-Boo Gel, and loaded with essential oils. It contains all the other main ingredients of its predecessor, but also has Turmeric!

Turmeric is fabulous for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Acne doesn’t stand a chance with this addition. And, the Turmeric works to clear any discoloration from scars. It is an exfoliating secret agent, to keep skin fresh, control oil, and combat the signs of aging.
