Longing for sunnier days and soft sand beaches lined with palm trees? ColourPop’s Vacation Mode palette may be just what you need, then!

This palette is part of a ColourPop haul that I made a little while ago. Such affordable makeup choices and vibrant palette selections, I couldn’t help it!

I’ve been having fun trying out all the eyeshadow colors from said shopping extravaganza! Vacation Mode is proving to be a very wearable set of shades, with purples that are quite compatible with brown or hazel eyes, and color intensity that will compliment most any complexion tone.

the shades:

• Round Trip—medium grey/purple, matte
• Mahalo(a Hawaiian word for Thank You! btw)—shimmering silver lilac, metallic
• Teeny Bikini—light, neutral terra cotta clay, matte
• Shotgun—crystalized cream, satin

All of these colors are fabulous for day wear, and in just the right combination of light/darks and finishes. Teeny Bikini couldn’t be a more perfect crease color! It goes on lighter than it looks in the pan so it will be difficult to over-play this color. I use matte Round Trip as an eyeliner and to define the outer curve of each lid. It could lend itself well to creating a smokey rim for eyes too.

Mahalo is such a gorgeous metallic, I like it for an all-over lid color. And, Shotgun is my under the eyebrow highlighter, and I also use it on the tear duct area. It has a soft finish that you might want to supplement it if you like a more iridescent inner eye highlight.

These two photos are a couple days of wear. I always add a black liquid eyeliner to the top lid just to give the lash line a little more umphf!
