TARTE Make Every Moment Count blush palette

Flushed pink cheeks and Springtime are synonymous. This cheek palette by tarte gives you three good size pans of cheek color to play-up cheeks and give your complexion a healthy bloom.

This is tarte’s double duty beauty Make Every Moment Count blush palette with a trio of blushes. The size of the palette is roughly  5.5 inches by just under 3.5 inches, so it is actually pretty large as far as blushes go:

The palette has a magnetic closure and a full lid inner mirror. It is a nice weight in the hand.

All three pans of blush are variations of pink!:

  • live—the only shimmery shade in the trio, a medium, warm, coral/pink
  • learn—a matte tan/pink nude shade
  • love—the largest pan in the palette, a medium dark, warm, matte, true pink

Tarte has included its signature Amazonian clay in these blushes as a natural way to achieve truer color and longer wear. More power ingredients are mineral pigments which are gentle and help to soften skin.

And, the whole palette has a yummy natural vanilla scent from vanilla ‘baked’ into the color. The vanilla makes the whole palette smell like freshly made cookies, to me, but it also provides antioxidants and anti-aging benefits. And, once applied the vanilla scent dissipates so is never overwhelming.

I like to use the ‘learn‘ color as a contour hue in the hollow of cheeks and along my hair line, then the ‘love‘ color as a pop on the apples of cheeks:

Live,’ will actually work perfectly on the apples of cheeks too, and will be great for deeper complexions. Once I have a summer tan, I may use it more.

All of these blushes are also oil-free and dermatologist tested, so they shouldn’t cause skin to breakout. And the colors are buildable, so not to worry if you think any of these might be too light for you.

I use these with either an angled blush brush or a domed face brush (like the ones below), which work great.

Cost for this palette is $23.00 USD on the tarte site or Ulta site.

Wishing all a Gorgeous rest of the week! I hope you are having a lovely spring in your neck of the woods. 🙂 I’d love to hear what your go-to pink blush is.

xo,

Jen
