TARTE Ready, Set, Radiant skin mist

Tarte’s Ready, Set, Radiant skin mist is a new category of skincare product for me. In the interest of keeping my skin as youthful as it can be, for as long as possible, I recently set out to find face products that include antioxidants and nurture my skin. Using this skin mist has added an extra step to my morning routine, but it has proven to be a life saver for my skin.

Cucumber extract is the ingredient that brings major antioxidants to this mist. Plus, the scent of this product is lightly sweet with hints of succulent cucumber, although any aroma dissipates pretty quickly (in case you are sensitive to scent).

Even on the first day of my using this face mist, the typical ruddiness of my cheeks calmed. Daily my skin feels more moisturized and surface dryness has vanished. As of today, I have been using Ready, Set, Radiant for over a week to mist my face after I wash it with warm water first thing in the morning. And, now won’t go without it!

To use: I hold the nozzle about 8 inches away, and mist with three or four sprays to get all of the surface of my face. I usually give it a minute or two to dry before applying an SPF moisturizer, as it does leave some damp residue that needs just a minute or two to absorb. It is multi-purpose and can be used alone over bare skin, as a primer, mixed with moisturizer, or as a refresh to makeup as needed.

The power ingredients:

cucumber extract: an anti-inflammatory that soothes any skin irritation
apple extract: an antioxidant and toner
tea seed oil: a gentle skin emollient and antioxidant
eucalyptus leaf oil: a hydrator that heals and cools skin

I am surprised to find this mist so moisturizing, complexion brightening, and skin-calming. After it dries, it does not feel sticky and is virtually weightless. However, you do need to shake it before each use, as the ingredients tend to settle after sitting for any period of time.

This hypoallergenic, vegan-friendly mist is made without:

gluten
mineral oil
parabens
phthalates

And, it is dermatologist-tested.

The details: I bought Ready, Set, Radiant at Ulta for $18.86USD (with a promo discount), although it usually runs for $25.00USD. Its weight is 2.5 fl oz/75 ml. I know you can find it on TarteCosmetics.com (obviously) in travel size and full size; as well as Sephora, Ulta and Macy’s (to name a few).

I’m so impressed with this product, I’ve already got Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea 4-in-1 Setting Mist on my wish list of items to get next!
