IPSY September 2015 – Glam Bag

IPSY’s September Glam Bag has a Face Fashion theme: smokier, deeper, richer, which translates to achieving an autumn elegance in the transition to the fall season and coming cool months. I received this month’s Glam Bag at around the same time I received products from an IPSY special offer that I had been sent online and subsequently purchased. Since my sister also subscribes to IPSY, and gets a Glam Bag tailored to her survey results, I am also posting the contents of her bag so you can see the slight difference in what we each received. (The copper colored makeup bags, below, are the same – one just has more of a sheen from the light.)

The things we both got were:

• NYX for Ipsy eyeshadow trio—the colors were a frosty beige, a frosty copper and a matte black
• OCTAVO organ oil for hair—a few drops to be applied to wet hair for moisture and shine, near weightless on the hair
• FAB/First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream—for intense skin hydration
• ELIZABETH MOTT Queen of the Fill tinted brow gel – the tube lid unscrews to reveal a tiny eyebrow wand with beige gel for eyebrows

And the things we received that were different: meTESTIQUE mini matte lip crayon, and her,CITY CHIC City Color lipstick in Je t’aims (a bright medium sheer pink).

These products are ALL 100% vegan, MADE IN the USA, anti-aging, and cruelty free! This was a fabulous purchase as these are all great formulas, and good for skin. My sister even bought a set for our mother.

The cleanser is a clear orange color with an herbal smell that washes my face to squeaky clean. I love it. The Sea Infused moisturizer comes out of the tube with a slight muted brownish color (not the most attractive) but it absorbs clear and is also very effective. The Serum is to be applied on a clean face, and can be worn under makeup and moisturizer. I’ve enjoyed using all three.

Especially if you’ve been searching for vegan facial products, you’ll find that these are perfect!
