LOREAL Colour Riche Collection Privee 2015 nude lip colors
After seeing a couple ads for Loreal Colour Riche Collection Privee nude lipsticks I had to try them! Can one really ever have too many basic nude lipsticks, afterall?
These can be found in a range of stores——I’ve seen them at Target, Walgreens, Ulta and Bed Bath & Beyond. They also range in price depending on the store and discounts available. I got two at Walgreens at a ‘buy one’ at ($10.49) and ‘get one 50% off’ ($5.24), and one at Target for $6.29.
There are six lipsticks in this collection of nudes to choose from, offering a range of shades and options——at least one that will look beautiful on each skin tone. With the smokey eye all the rage, a nude lipstick is the perfect compliment. Wearing a nude lip allows smokey eyes or bold black lined eyes with black mascara to be the focal point of your look, and also pairs gorgeously with a bright, rosy pink cheek.
The three nudes that I purchased:
Jennifer’s Nude* (yeah, had to get this one, of course!) by Jennifer Lopez—— a pale rose beige/grey nude, for medium olive skin tones
Freida’s Nude by Freida Pinto——a slightly parma violet/lilac nude, for honey skin tones
Doutzen’s Nude by Doutzen Kroes——a baby pink nude, for fair/light skin tones
Liya’s Nude* by Liya Kebede——a purple/brown nude, for deeper skin tones
Julianne’s Nude by Julianne Moore——a warm pink/peach nude, for fair skin tones
Eva’s Nude* by Eva Longoria——a beige pink nude, for light/medium skin tones
To wear a nude best: exfoliate lips; next apply a lip balm to prep a smooth surface and ensure extra moisture; add a clear or nude lip liner; then use a lip brush to apply color or use it directly from the tube (depending on preference). Make sure to get color into the corners of lips and top peaks. Also finishing with a clear gloss finishes them with full effect. Then, brush on a flushed pink to cheeks for a lovely contrast.
These lip products smell similarly to other Loreal lip products——they have a bit of a sweet, powdery smell. And, note that color swatches on the Loreal site are not necessarily true to actual color (I have found), that is why I got three to try, however you could always swatch them at the drug store for more assurance that a color is right for your complexion.
Let me know if you have a favorite nude of this brand or another. You go Gorgeous!

Jen
