BAREMINERALS Prime Time BB primer-cream

I purchased this product on a whim and am so pleased with it’s results. The primer-cream comes in a small 1 fl oz. white plastic pump bottle, with a clear lid. I liked the fact that it has broad spectrum SPF 30, to protect skin. Also fantastic is its hint of color, the options are: light or medium. I chose light to best match my skin tone. Ulta was my place of purchase, but you can also find this product at bareMinerals stores (or via http://www.bareescentuals.com) and Sephora at least.

Prime Time BB Primer-Cream is a fantastic multi-tasker. Bare Minerals recommends using one pump to apply a fine layer of the primer all over your face to perfect skin tone, lessen the appearance of pores, combat oil build-up, and defend against environmental harms. It is meant to be worn alone or under foundation. I have added it to my daily regime, applying it after face lotion, and either before or after concealer.

After the first day of trying Prime Time, I was loving the results. It goes on liquid but dries fairly fast and turns into a powder-like finish that stays matte all day (even with my combination skin). The Beauty Benefits cover combatting flaky dry skin as well as excess oil, and the matte finish helps prevent eye makeup like mascara and eyeliner from running by the end of the day. I usually use two small pumps of this product each day.

I like to add a bit of concealer around my eyes with this cream, because the coverage is designed to be fairly sheer. However, I think it would look just fine alone as well. And, it removes easily with water.

The active sunscreen ingredients are: titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.
