AGENT PROVOCATEUR eau de parfum – Petal Noir
Agent Provocateur makes a range of fragrances, this is the first of theirs that I have had the pleasure to find. The bottle itself is very sensual with its smooth rounded lines. It has a lovely floral (possibly peonies) design outlined in gold encasing the outside of the glass bottle. I purchased this 3.3 oz bottle at a Nordstrom store, on sale for $49.97. I’m not sure if Nordstrom is phasing this scent out of its inventory because I could not find it listed on their website site any longer.
I bought this particular scent because I needed to return another recently purchased cologne that had seemed like what I would like (from its online reviews) but turned out being too musky for me. In my search for a more floral selection – I found that people had great things to say about this one, although I went to the store this time so that I could try it on before buying it.
Petale Noir is a very complex and sexy scent, based on top botanical notes of jasmine, lotus, magnolia, mandarin and violet leaf. It would be classified as an oriental floral, but packs a ton of other complex notes as well, such as: bergamot, rich woods, musk, leather and spices. The pink color of this liquid fragrance seems innocent enough with its floral base, but it blossoms into such an array of warm and tempting aromas it just keeps you guessing. – definitely a lovely original.

Thank you! Almost the last of the flowers from my garden (in the picture), as winter is setting in.
Good review and nice pics. 🙂
