20-Piece White Makeup Brush Set
Since I only have a random collection of makeup brushes, most with rather short-ish handles, I decided to buy a couple sets to try. This one is not terribly expensive (under $20.), not one of the really high-end ones, but it comes with 20 brushes with handles that are all about 6.5 inches long, as well as enough variety to assign specialized uses to each and not mix product. The hairs are natural, goat hair, and very soft. They came in a plaid plastic roll-up case that will be handy for traveling with the brushes although it is not of a really high quality.
The largest brushes can be used for powder, blush/bronzer, highlighting powders and foundation (I’ll note specific uses with the pictures below). There are a wide variety for eye makeup application, a few for precision uses, and at least one specifically for lips. The fan brush is useful in brushing away errant flecks of eyeshadow, thinning areas of heavy powder, applying blush very softly or blending the edges or foundation – it is useful in all-around fine tuning. The very small angled black brush is the one for accurate lip product application and the three smallest ones (including the one with the short, narrow column of bristles are for gel or cream eyeliner. The one brush I wish the set included would be a medium-sized stiff eye makeup application brush for lining eyes with eyeshadow, especially for the lower lash line (one of my go-to brushes). And, the one that I’ve noted for foundation is actually a little too soft to apply foundation well, although it does fine for blending out the edges. Most of these brushes (except for the smallest ones) are very soft and bend easily.
I washed these before first using them, and then as usual will continue to wash them in warm water with baby shampoo about once a week to keep them bacteria-free.

That’s very cheap for 20 brushes. How do you find them? would you recommend them?
Hello Maria. I found them just browsing on Amazon. I think I got what I paid for, however the bristles could be softer. I am going to try using them for a while and see how they wear. Thanks for visiting my blog! Jen
