Clinique BONUS gift with purchase – SUMMER

Always like to buy an item from a cosmetics line when they are having a ‘gift with purchase‘ running. The product I bought was Clinique’s moisture surge CC Cream (which I will review separately) from Nordstrom. This gift that came with contained some great products and samples in a fairly big decorative makeup bag.

Small-size samples included: Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes &  Lips; Liquid Facial Soap Mild; Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream; Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo; Quickliner For Eyes Intense; High Impact Mascara; Long Last Lipstick; and a bright floral cloth Cosmetics Bag by Tracy Reese. I find these smaller items handy to tuck in my purse or take along on a summer road trip or vacation, besides giving me the opportunity to try a variety of skin care and cosmetics. A nice option, when you don’t want to commit to buying a full size product before making sure it will work for you.

I adore the included Long Last Soft Shine lipstick color – Twilight Nude (a soft mauve-ish pink). Its light enough to wear to the office, just the right amount of color for day. The eyeshadow colors that were in my gift were chocolate chip (a matte deep brown) and a new york dawn shade (a frosty light barely pink taupe), the eyeliner is 03 intense chocolate – all three very wearable. Great gift!
