ILLAMASQUA Powder Eyeshadow – Succumb

Succumb is a perfect pale peach eyeshadow. I’d never tried Illamasqua before I purchased this item. The line offers a variety of hard to find colors, which is what led me to try this one. The powder of the eyeshadow is very finely milled and all their colors are highly pigmented. Its best to apply a couple layers in order to get the boldest representation of the color. I wish this line offered palettes with selections of eyeshadows, but these are each sold separately.

I bought Succumb to use as a neutral and all over soft lid color. After using an eyelid primer, I apply this eyeshadow with a brush. It goes on very silky and the shadow itself has a faint rose or sweet scent. I find that it also blends well with other eyeshadows, and this color is neutral enough to be worn with virtually any darker crease and eyeliner colors. I like to use my Urban Decay eyeliner color – Mainline (teal) with this this neutral eyeshadow.
