SEPHORA Jumbo 12hour Eyeliners

I bought these as a set that I found in the sale section of the Sephora site after Christmas last year. I was looking for a soft eyeliner and I liked several of the shades in this collection, especially the kaki and the lighter the middle purple (in the swatches below). These glide on very smoothly and easily. I like the that these are slightly thicker than standard eyeliners so the thickness of the initial line is a little wider too.

kaki 09 – a warm golden green with a sheen

purple 15 – a warm mauve purple with a sheen

purple glitter 29 – a cool true purple with silver glitter

black 17 – a matte black

taupe 04 – a light warm brown with sheen

white glitter 32 – a bright white with glitter

These liners are great because they go on so smoothly, there is no tugging of the skin in the sensitive eye area. I thought I would probably like the kaki and lighter purple best, but I have ended up wearing the darker of the two purples the most because I like the definition it gives and how it compliments my hazel eyes. The white works best as a highlighter under the eyebrows (can be smudged with your finger to make it more subtle) and the taupe works well as a lid color and inner eye lid highlighter. They are waterproof and 12 hour wear, and they do indeed stay on until I take them off for the day. Ordering a set with this range of colors is nice because it allows some experimentation with colors and application.
